VENUS IN FURS WELCOME CYNTHIA!
Cynthia Burnson (of Screamin’ Cyn Cyn and the Pons), brings a second guitar and a keyboard to the band, as well as great energy. "I am truly fortunate that Venus in Furs is letting me into their awesome band.  I've always wanted to play in a girl punk band and now my wish has been granted.  In exchange, I promise the band genie that I will help carry stuff and be punctual and bring beer to at least 25% of the practices." - Cynthia.  We’ve always made the performance our priority, keeping shows engaging and dynamic. Knowing Cynthia’s energy and stage presence, we can’t wait to see what will happen at our upcoming shows! Musically, it gives us more options and allows for more creativity. Our first show with Cynthia will be April 27th (details below).

The Furs will be taking part in a very special fundraiser on behalf of the Mercury Players Theater, The one night only "BLITZ"! 8 playwrights will write short plays and 24hours later are performed! Expect a unique evening of theater and live music!
